Rising Stars of Bundesliga

Few days back we had a look at the Laliga youngsters who we expect to shine next season. Similarly we will have a look at the few Bundesliga young talents.
Again I have only considered the players who have not got regular playing time and are unknown to many of us. Though Bundesliga has a wealth of talented youngsters I have only selected few here.

I have not considered the names like
Sarpreet singh Alphonso Davies,Erling Haaland, Marcus Thuram, Kai Havertz, Dayot Upmecano,Paulinho, Nubel, Josh Sargent, Tyler Adams who have already started quite a few games for their clubs in Bundesliga and Cup competitions and already are household names.

These are few players who we think will be household names next season. So let's start

Sarpreet Singh - Bayern Munich
Sarpreet Singh become the first New Zealander and the first footballer of Indian descent to play in the Bundesliga. Singh made his first start for Bayern Munich on 20 June 2020 against SC Freiburg. Singh had just an average game however this highly rated midfielder has drawn comparisons with German International Mesut Ozil. His playing style is very similar to the Arsenal midfielder. Singh impressed with his performance in the  Bayern reserves side with five goals and four assists. The Bayern Coach Flick highly rates the 21 year old and would be definitely giving him more playing time next season. If things go well next season might be his breakthrough season.

Joshua Zirkzee - Bayern Munich
The most impressive facet of the youngster’s game is his ability to display awareness of those around him and link up play with the midfield. On 1 March 2019, Zirkzee scored a hat-trick in his debut for Bayern Munich II. He made his Bundesliga debut on 18 December 2019, coming on as a substitute in the 90th minute in a match against Freiburg tied at 1–1; he scored the winner almost immediately after entering the game. This nineteen year old Dutchman has been touted as a successor to Robert Lewandowski. He has made several substitute appearances for Bayern this season, we can expect him to feature more regularly next season.

Giovanni Reyna - Borussia Dortmund
Reyna made his Bundesliga debut for Borussia Dortmund, coming on as a substitute on 18th January 2020. He is the youngest American to ever appear in Bundesliga. At 17 years and 83  days he became youngest goal scorer in German Cup history. Borussia Dortmund is known to scout and produce great talents like Jadon Sancho, Christian Pulisic, Marco Reus, Matt Hummels. Mario Gotze etc are few examples. With Jadon Sancho's future looking uncertain at the club Reyna may be the ideal candidate to take over his position if Sancho leaves. The 17 year old has a exciting season waiting for him in 2020.

Luan Candido - RB Leipzig
This 19 year old Brazilian has been compared to Brazilian star 'Marcelo'. Candido has represented Brazil U-15,U-17 and U-20 age groups. Candido is a versatile player who can play in any position on the Left side. Candido was chased by Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund before RB Leipzig signed him in 2019. He is yet to make any senior club appearance for Leipzig. He would be expected to play more often for Julian Nagelsmann' Leipzig next season.

Florian Wirtz - Bayer Leverkusen
Wirtz was first noticed by football fans when he made his professional debut for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on 18 May 2020, he became the youngest Leverkusen player to debut in the Bundesliga, at the age of 17 years and 15 days. After few days Wirtz became the youngest goalscorer in Bundesliga history at the age of 17 years and 34 days, when he scored in the 89th minute against Bayern Munich. He would be an ideal replacement for Kai Havertz if he leaves the club this season. He would definitely be getting regular starts next season and would be looking forward to break many more records next season.
