Rising Stars of LaLiga

We would take a look into few youngsters of La liga, that could shine next season. We would be taking a look into few unheard names.

There are many youngsters in la Liga who have already made their name. We would not be looking into the name that we are already familiar with or the ones who are getting regular starts.

I have intentionally not mentioned few names like Ander Barrentexea(Real Sociedad), Takefusa kubo(Mallorca -on loan from Real Madrid), Samuel Chukwuzee(Villarreal), Ferran Torres(Valencia), Martin Odegaard(Real Sociedad - on loan from Real Madrid), Kang In Lee (Valencia), Rodrygo(Real Madrid) & Ansu Fati (Barcelona).

Here are few youngsters to watch out next season.

Reiner Jesus Carvalho - Real Madrid
On 20 January 2020, Real Madrid announced that the club reached an agreement with Flamengo for the transfer of Reinier, who signed a contract until June 2026. The fee was around of €35 million. Yet to make his la Liga debut. He would itching to go next season and prove his worth. This Brazilian would be a player to watch out, provided he gets enough playing time.

Riqui Puig - Barcelona
This 20 year old Barcelona youth product, made his senior team debut in 2018. He was in the limelight for the spectacular assist he had against Cultural Leonosa. Puig has not got first team opportunities obviously because of the star studded Barcelona line up. The midfielder has played a total of 160 minutes in the league this season with just one start. He would be hoping for more opportunities next season. If he gets enough opportunities, he would prove to an invaluable addition to the Barcelona midfield.

Sergio Camello - Atletico Madrid
19 year old Atletico Madrid youth, joined Their youth setup in 2019 and gradually rose in the ranks. Sergio is a forward who has made two league appearances this season. He scored his debut goal for Atletico towards the end of 2018-2019 season against Levante. He would be looking forward to next season for more opportunities. Atletico has always been known to produce world class forwards like Fernando Torres, Sergio Aguero, Diego Costa. Though we are definitely excited about Sergio Camello but would only know more about his potential once he starts playing regularly.

Diego Lainez - Real Betis
Lainez joined La Liga club Real Betis on a five-year contract reportedly worth $14 million. He became the youngest Mexican player to score in the UEFA Europa League when he netted an injury-time equalizer against Rennes in the first leg of the round of 32. The winger has just had two starts this season, and has played a total of 321 minutes under his belt. Lainez true potential would be realised only when he starts often. He would be a kid to watch out in 2020 season.

Hugo Guillamón - Valencia
The 20 year old centre back from Valencia made his debut with senior team on 22nd Feb 2020 as a substitute. Lately Hugo has started three games for Valencia. He has shown his potential with his command and authority in the box. Hugo would be definitely getting more starts with his impressive performance this season. We would definitely see him more next season and he would a kid to look forward to.

Luka Romero - Real Mallorca
Romero played his first match with Mallorca on 24 June 2020, coming in as a substitute in a 0–2 away defeat against Real Madrid.Aged 15 years and 219 days, he broke Sansón's record for the youngest player to ever play a professional match in La Liga. The Argentine midfielder is just fifteen and has long way to go, we will surely see more of him next season.

I would be compiling a similar list for Premier League and Bundesliga.
