Paul Pogba-Bruno Fernandes duo getting better with each game. Manchester United fans have been waiting from long time to see the duo play together. Bruno Fernandes has been directly involved in eight goals in his first eight Premier League games for Manchester United (five goals & three assists). Manchester United supporters have already started comparing Bruno Fernandes to Kevin De Bryune, however there is still a long way to go for the Ex Sporting Lisbon Captain.
It has been a long wait, Pogba injured and then the Premier League pause due to pandemic. Finally the fans anxious wait has come to an end and they are witnesseing the partnership blossoming into a special one, a treat to watch. Manchester United fans might have got a nostalgia. Reminiscing the good old days when Manchester United dominated the opposition from start to end. The team looked hungry and are clinging tightly to fight the top four race.
Watching Bruno Fernandes play, there is one more set of fans who will be really excited i.e the Portugal National Team fans. Bruno Fernandes playing alongside Bernardo Silva and linking up with Ronaldo would be something to watch out for. Though we are still not certain when the next International fixture would be but definitely Portugal team is going to be a force to reckon.
Back to yesterday's game, the win against Brighton has taken Manchester United to 15 games unbeaten under Ole in all competitions. The last defeat they faced was against Burnley on 23rd January. United are also looking more solid at the back with eight clean sheets in their last 13 league matches. If Manchester United continues their form, they would be able to secure that top four finish.
The other impressive performers include Greenwood. Greenwood is surely a star for the future and he showed that he can certainly perform on the big stage. He would be a player to look forward next season.
A few smart transfers this summer would
definitely make them strong contenders for Premier League.
