Leeds United are back in the premier League. It is an exciting time for Leeds United fans. Leeds United has a very ambitious club owner, who is loved by the fams. Club owner Andrea Radrizzani has spoken of the potential swoops for two of Europe's most recognised goalscorers.
Andrea Radrizzani has already started making plans for next year. He would definitely be injecting more cash not only with a hope of staying in premier league but also with a desire of finishing in a respectable spot.
Here we will look into few high profile yet cheap transfers that Radrizzani might be able to pull of with his ambitious team.
Edison Cavani
Radrizzani has openly spoken about his interest in Cavani. This 33year old Uruguayan seems to be out of favour in present PSG line up. With the likes of Mbappe, Neymar and Icardi it is difficult for Cavani to get good playing time. Leeds United project might interest him and he is a currently a free agent.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Alongwith Cavani Radrizzani has shown interest in 38yearvold Zlatan. Age is just a number for Zlatan, he is currently injured and playing for AC milan. It seems very unlikely that Zlatan would be interested in a move from AC Milan to Leeds United, however you never know. Marcelo Bielsa has the potential to lure any one.
David Silva
David Silva would be a valuable addition to midfield. Again age is just a number, his Premier League experience would be invaluable to the young and energetic Leeds. Silva will be a free agent end of this season.
Gareth Bale
We all know about the troubled relationship between Bale and Real Madrid, or should I say Bale and Zidane. It is certain that Real would be willing to sell him this transfer window and I am sure Bale would be happy to prove his mettle again in Premier League.
Mario Gotze
We all know what Gotze is capable of, however he has not been able to raise up to the potential everyone thought he would. He is a free agent and only 29 year old, he would love to prove his critics wrong. A move to Premier League could be a blessing in disguise.
James Rodriguez
One more out of favoured player from Real Madrid. He is still young and given a chance he would prove to be a useful addition in the midfield. A skillful number 10, which many still regard as a very good player.
Thiago Silva
Like Cavani he will also be not getting a new contract from PSG.Thiago Silva would be a free agent. Leeds United would be happy to have a center Back with Thiago Silva's experience in their squad.
One could argue these players have past their prime, however 'Class is permanent, Form is temporary'. Class with loads of experience is a lethal combination. If Leeds United could pull off, atleast 3-4 of these players, it would be a statement. It would be very exciting few days for Leeds United fans after 16 years of wait they would be hoping to return and stamp their authority in the Premier League.
