The German has enjoyed a lot of success at club level as a manager.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss has lifted his maiden premier League trophy. Liverpool are already champions of England with still 7 games play.
Klopp has managed three clubs in his career so far. Starting his career with Mainz in 2001 soon after retiring as a player. Klopp went on to manage 270 games for them. He resigned in 2008 after becoming their longest serving manager. Klopp was associated with Mainz 05 from 1990-2001 as a player then 2001- 2008 as a manager.
In May 2008, Klopp was approached to become the new manager of Borussia Dortmund, a club which had finished 13th in the previous season. It didn't take long for Klopp to make Borussia Dortmund Bundesliga Champions. In 2010-11 Borussia Dortmund lifted their first league title under Klopp. An achievement in a league which has been dominated by the mighty Bayern Munich for long. Klopp's side had the unique record of being the youngest ever side to win the league. Klopp and his team successfully defended their title next year 2011-12.
Klopp had to lose many of his star players to big clubs but he still kept going. He guided Borussia Dortmund to a All German Champions League final in 2012-13 against Bayern Munich,only to lose to eventual champions.
Klopp joined Liverpool after serving as the longest serving manager of Dortmund in 2015. In his first press Conference he mentioned he would resign and go to Switzerland if he doesn't win a league title in 5 years, which he eventually did. Klopp also mentioned he is going to convert doubters into believers, which I believe he eventually did.
Klopp is a living example of try and try until you succeed. After having lost 2 champions League finals, a Europa League final and a league cup final,there were many who said he is jinxed. It didn't take long for Klopp to prove them wrong. He has now a champions League, Uefa super cup and Club world cup. There are not many teams that doesn't win a league title even after acheiving 97 points.
Klopp kept knocking on the door, he knew it they are in reaching distance. He built a squad of winners, Winning a league title with 7 games to spare. A feat that I don't believe is going to be matched soon. I am sure there are lot of Liverpool haters but I am also sure there are very few Klopp haters. He is man who is known for speaking his mind, who was in favour of suspending the league even after getting so close to title. He clearly mentioned people's life is more important than football or any titles. There are many more success waiting to come for this man.

Klopp has won three German Football Manager of the Year awards (2011, 2012 and 2019). He has received eight Premier League Manager of the Month awards. Klopp was adjudged The Best FIFA Men's Coach and the IFFHS World's Best Club Coach in 2019.
