Jack Grealish to Manchester United?

Reports coming in state, Manchester United are edging closer to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa for £80m.

Jack Grealish has been impressing everyone with his performances with Aston Villa. Grealish can play on both the wings and as a Attacking Midfielder.

Let's discuss few of his numbers.Grealish has 9 goals and 8 assists in 31 games this season.  Grealish has won 140 fouls this season, with eight games remaining, which is a record in league history. His ability to run with the ball and drive the team forward causes problems, with 2.1 successful dribbles per game. Often opponents take the easy or last resort option to stop him in his tracks and bring him down.

But the question remains is it a smart move to splash of £80m for Jack Grealish. He is valued around £30m in the transfermarkt official website.

If Aston Villa is not willing to cut down on their asking price then the other smarter alternative would be to go for Tolisso of Bayern Munich who would come in at much cheaper price or Nabil Fekir of Real Betis. Tolisso has not been utilised much by Bayern Munich and they are willing to offload Tolisso and inject some cash for Sañe move. If Manchester United has a budget of £80m, they should go for both Tolisso(Bayern Munich) and Nabil Fekir(Real Betis). They would come in a combined £80m, and it would add more variety to their midfield.

£80m for Jack Grealish would be an expensive buy considering a younger and better performing Kai Havertz is valued the same. In this era of Pandemic where all the clubs are struggling with finances, we are sure Manchester United will think 1000 times before they make any move.
